With in Sight

We work with couples, individuals, and families to improve relationships and well-being.

David and Meshel

During our first session we get to know you, and how you want things to be different. Together we explore new ways of helping you get the life you want.

We each have our own ways of helping. We treat many different issues of personal growth and distress, as well as relationship issues, including marriage, partnering, and parenting.

I help people become who they wish they could be, the person inside who may be afraid to come out. Together, we can create a plan to help extinguish your fears and open the way for your dreams to come true.

What dreams have you been waiting to pursue? What hopes for your life have been held back, waiting for the day when you feel you are good enough?

Instead of waiting for your dream, therapy can help you live your life.

My other joys include: Our two rescued pit bulls — Oscar & Olive — farmer’s markets, making jewelry, reading, and finding new and interesting things to do around Madison.

Too often we are angry — but really, we are hurt. Too often we are not merely quiet — we are quiet, disconnected, and anxious. We show the people we love where it hurts the worst — but too often, they don’t understand.

We can live lives we believe in, true to who we are — and not just cope.

We can learn to be ourselves, trust ourselves, accept ourselves. Therapy can help set us free to embrace our lives and become more of who we are.

Therapy is what I most enjoy. When I am not doing therapy, I am often reading or writing about it, although I also unplug with music, swimming, and hiking.

An Interview

We were part of a series of interviews conducted for Brava Magazine's article Cultivate Your Marriage, which shows something of how we are like, and unlike, other helping professionals. You can find the article here.
